Our second full season of summer programming accommodated almost 100 local youth through six summer camps in 2024. Youth ages 8-18 had the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, learn and participate in cultural activities, and gain valuable survival skills. We reach more students and provide more comprehensive programs through strong partnerships with the Sitka Native Education Program, Sitka Conservation Society 4H, Youth Advocates of Sitka, and SAIL.
Our camps are always free, place-based and designed to foster a love of the outdoors. Continued support from US Forest Service, and Sitka Legacy fund allow us to continue year round youth programming.
