Yeidikook’áa Brady-Howard was raised here in Sitka. Yeidikook’áa (Dionne) taught at Mt. Edgecumbe High School for over twenty years, began retiring and moving to Outer Coast, where she teaches Indigenous Studies. When not serving on various boards or leading a Tlingit dance group, she spends time on the Cross Trail, where she finds solace and stress relief.
