Sitka Trail Works has received reports of a major blowdown on Mosquito Cove Trail.
The ocean side of the trail is impassable due to this mass of fallen trees & there are additional downed trees in multiple other spots. We advise hikers to avoid the affected areas.
We are working with State Parks on a plan for funding & repairs and will update you when more is known.
