Sitka Trail Works welcomes new 
board member Lee House!
Lee eats, sleeps, and breathes getting into the mountains. Originally from Massachusetts, with a brief stint as a trail-building crew leader for high schoolers in the PNW, he has now found a home in Sitka where he is always planning the next trip to go hiking, snowboarding, hunting, running, or exploring a creative route along the ridges and valleys of the island. When Lee is not getting out, he is working as Creative Director at Element Agency, an Alaska-based creative agency that specializes in graphic design, videography, and photography for clients across the state. Lee is also a certified wilderness first responder that volunteers with Sitka Mountain Rescue — he cares deeply about the safety, accessibility, and well-being of Sitkans that enjoy the outdoors.
Lee is serving on the remainder of a term from vacated board position and will be up for re-election by STW members this fall.
